every momento count.
This is a wonderful moving film, in English, showing
the importance of family centered paediatric palliative
care.
It
speaks of 5 young people:
- Rachel with cystic fibrosis
- Mickaela with a brain tumor
- Garett with metachromatic leucodystrophy
- Gawa and Aaaron
These
children or their families speak about life and their
approaches and their difficulties in facing death.
It shows in a very beautiful way, how families and professionals
can come together during this very emotional time and
help each other and chose what is best for all of them.
It is wonderful and very useful film for the education
of careers or for professional teams, helping them to
see what paediatric palliative care can be, through
these different stories, and how families and teams
can work together and help each other in facing the
death of child.
