TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM THE NCC
All registered participants and registered accompanying persons who are staying in hotels which are NOT within walking distance from the NCC will be provided with an HTM Travel Card, on the first registration day (April 2, 2003).
This card is complimentary and is valid for one person for 5 days - April 2-5, 2003.
HTM operates in The Hague and suburbs with buses and tram routes and runs from about 05:30 until 01:00 on weekdays and from 07:00 until 03:00 on weekends www.htm.nl

ABOUT THE HOTEL LOCATIONS

Scheveningen Area
Scheveningen, adjacent to The Hague along the North Sea coast, has become the city's most popular seaside resort. The beach itself slopes gently into the North Sea in front of a high promenade that protects the boulevard and everything behind it from winter storms.
Scheveningen is fun to visit and popular with youngsters, and close to the shopping centre and the Casino.

The Hague City Centre
The Royal, diplomatic, and governmental area, where you can easily visit the city's most popular Museums such as the Mauritshuis, Panorama Mesdag, and the Haags Gemeentemuseum, as well as enjoy many fine cuisine restaurants.

Kijkduin Area
The Atlantic hotel is located amidst the dunes, on the seafront. This unique site, the complete range of 4 star facilities and the pleasant relaxed atmosphere will ensure a successful stay. You can enjoy the beach, and the cultural and shopping facilities.

BOOKING
In order to benefit from the special Congress rates, please use one of the following booking methods:

• Book your hotel accommodation ONLINE through this website by submitting the Registration Accommodation & Tours Form.
  
  
• Print the Registration Accommodation & Tours Form, fill it out and send it with the required deposit by FAX or MAIL at your earliest convenience
  

We strongly advise all Congress participants to reserve their Hotel accommodation as soon as possible. Kenes International will not be able to guarantee rooms after March 10, 2003.

Reservations will only be confirmed if credit card details are fully supplied; alternatively please forward a deposit - Euro 200 for 5 star, Euro 150 for 4 star and Euro 100 for 3 star (per room) by bank transfer. Details appear in the Accommodation Form.
Each participant will receive an individual confirmation, indicating the name and address of the hotel. The booking will be finalized upon receipt of the corresponding deposit.
If hotel reservation is made by a sponsoring company, the participant will receive the corresponding hotel confirmation from the sponsoring company directly.
For block bookings (10 rooms and up) companies are requested to send their request by fax or
E-mail to Kenes International. Different payment and cancellation policies will apply.

PAYMENT
Payment for accommodation, provided by Kenes International is payable (less deposit) before your arrival in The Hague.
Kenes International accepts Travellers' cheques and Euro cheques (in the currency of the issuing country), Visa, Master Card, Diners Club and American Express credit cards.

CANCELLATION OF ACCOMMODATION
Cancellations or changes must be sent in writing to Kenes International.
In the event of non-arrival, the hotel will automatically release the reservation. and the payment will be non-refundable. (Based on minimum 2 nights stay)

IMPORTANT NOTES
Kenes International, and their agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his /her luggage or any other property for any reason whatsoever, for any tourist services provided. Personal travel and health insurance is recommended.
Official check-in time for the hotel is 13:00 hours and check out is noon.

AIRPORT INFORMATION AND TRAVEL TO THE HAGUE
International flights arrive at Schipol Airport located 35 km north of The Hague.
Trains run about 4 times per hour and arrive in The Hague at the Central station (CS) or Holland Spoor (HS). Journey time is 30-40 minutes and the approximate train ticket cost is Euro 10 per person per direction. A taxi from one of the stations CS or HS to the congress hotels is most convenient and not very expensive.
Private taxis are available 24 hours a day, the approximate cost is Euro 50 per taxi.
Group (minimum 10 participants arriving on the same flight) arrival and departure transfers between Schipol International Airport and hotels can be arranged on any day (24 hours a day) at an additional cost. This service includes private assistance by a hostess, transfer by deluxe and air-conditioned vehicle. Please register for this service with Kenes International no later than March 15, 2003. Groups which have reserved an arrival transfer will be met and assisted inside the arrival hall, after passing through passport control and before luggage claim.
