The Governing Authority of the University and the Medical Board of the
Our Lady's Hospice invites applications for the full-time permanent
position of Professor of Clinical Nursing (Palliative Nursing ) Our
Lady's Hospice Ltd the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Sciences.
The successful candidate must possess
an appropriate combination of the following achievements and attributes:
• A doctoral degree awarded by a recognised university.
• Have a recognised nursing qualification with relevant clinical
experience.
• An international reputation for scholarship and outstanding
research.
• A substantial record of peer-reviewed publications of international
standing.
• A successful record of securing funding for research.
• Demonstrable leadership capacity.
• Demonstrable excellent communications and inter-personal skills.
The
successful candidate should possess the following desirable
attributes and achievements in an appropriate combination:
• Significant post-doctoral experience in academia or in a similarly
complex environment(s).
• Demonstrable commitment to graduate research and teaching.
