The Hellenic Society of Palliative and Symptomatic Care of Cancer and Non-Cancer Patients has published the 8th issue of its Newsletter, which is dedicated to the celebration of the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day 2008. The message this year is "Palliative Care is a Human Right".

In this issue you will find a translated message from the President of the European Society of Palliative Care Professor L. Radbruch, reports from patients and their families regarding the neccessity for access to Palliative Care, our Society's standpoints on Hospice and Palliative Care, as these have been made officially known to the Ministery of Health within the "Plan Against Cancer", and finally news about the current PARHSYA scientific activities.
