Mission
Statement
Being an accountant and being projected
every day in the cold and sterile world of numbers does
not exclude the possibility but mostly the “duty”
to dedicate part of your time to a social cause. That
is why I have decided to offer my personal contribution
and the contribution of my office to the EAPC.
What
pays me back for my efforts is the certainty that by
assisting the EAPC in its economical efforts in a way
I have also given a little contribution in spreading
throughout the world a care that gives back to the terminal
patients their dignity and respectability.
I have been working for the EAPC since 1990 - a lot
of work has been done since then and there is still
a lot to do. Maybe it is thanks to my strong belief
in the cause of the EAPC that I have been able to involve
more people to assist me in this work. In fact we have
now three Auditors of Account (a labour consultant,
a Lawyer and a financial advisor). All of them offer
their precious professional contribution to the EAPC
as volunteers, just like me.
I
very much hope to be re-elected in order to be able
to carry out my work with the same dedication and commitment
that a discipline like Palliative Care deserves.
